An extremely interesting monument of the baroque style of Moscow. Before the restoration work, it was not remarkable but today has become one of the jewels of the district of Pokrovka. During the restoration, the history of its construction was specified, which allowed to preserve its decoration in brick of XVIII s. and interior elements. However, one of the facades has been added almost imperceptibly from the outside; a space on the mezzanine has been laid out. We found the place for an internal staircase; we have modified the functional areas of the house; the original entry was discovered; the interiors have been restored and fitted out; the 1.2 meters of land were removed in order to discover the historic facade. If we look at the house today, we might wonder what has changed. Nothing in particular. Nevertheless, this is a good restoration when nothing overloads the building.
